Every year, the ASU Foundation celebrates Sun Devil Gratitude Week as a tribute to those who fuel Arizona State University. It's more than just appreciation — it's a full-force celebration of the students, faculty, staff and supporters who make this university excellent and impactful.
Starting as a single-day event on National Philanthropy Day seven years ago, Sun Devil Gratitude Week has grown to a week-long celebration that focuses on instilling a culture of gratitude that can be carried throughout ASU all year long.
While one of the primary objectives of Sun Devil Gratitude Week is to thank ASU donors and volunteers for their support, this initiative is much greater than that. Sun Devil Gratitude is all about showing appreciation to everyone in the ASU community — students, faculty, staff, alumni and community partners. Together, everyone at ASU is contributing to building a better world.
Sun Devil Gratitude Week starts on Nov. 12 and features events and ways to show appreciation throughout the week.
Sun Devil Gratitude Week celebrates everything ASU and its students have accomplished and is open to anyone affiliated with the university.
Donors and volunteers make a difference in the daily lives of Sun Devils through scholarships, access to unique opportunities, funding for new classroom equipment and more. This past year, ASU received contributions from over 108,481 donors. Their support and generosity have transformed ASU, strengthened academic programs and empowered students and faculty.
Students like you are the future of ASU philanthropy and are vital to growing a culture of gratitude on campus and beyond. Sun Devil Gratitude Week is a stepping stone to achieve this goal as we convey gratitude toward all donors and each other and celebrate what you and our community have achieved together.
