Put your wallets away: free things to do in Phoenix

Spending money isn't always fun. For when you're low on cash, but need to get out of the house try these free Phoenix and Valley activities suggested by Lauren Topor at Thrillest.com.
There are options for every type of person, whether yoga is yoru thing, you are looking for a trivia spot with soem friends, or you want cheap things to do in a near by city. Here are some of our favorites:
- Hike South Mountain’s trails - There are over 50 different trails.
- Visit the Phoenix Art Museum - Admission is free on Wednesdays from 3pm to 9pm.
- Head down to First Friday - If you don't live by the Downtown Phoenix campus, you can easily get here by ASU shuttle or light rail.
- Visit the ASU Art Museum - Come see work by international artists, as well as students you go to class with.
- Visit the Arizona Science Center - The Culture Pass will get you access to the Science Center, as well as other spots around Arizona.
- People-watch on Mill Avenue - Patios all across Mill Avenue have misters and shade for you to sit under.
